Elke A. Hofmann, Esq.

About me

I have been working with start-up and emerging growth businesses since I started my legal career in 1998 as an associate in the Business and Finance section of the law firm of Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP in Philadelphia. In 2000, I moved to New York City to serve as the In-House Counsel of an internet company that focused on launching new ventures, and I handled all of the legal issues for these start-up companies. From 2003 until 2005, I was an associate attorney with Shalov Stone & Bonner LLP (now Shalov Stone Bonner & Rocco LLP), a boutique law firm specializing in securities and consumer fraud class action lawsuits. I found that I missed working with entrepreneurs, and began to build a solo practice providing legal advice to small businesses. Since 2005, I have focused on representing restaurants, bars and retail wine and spirits stores.
